An added note…

With regard to the previous post, I forgot to mention that there are very few people more knowledgeable, in regard to firearms than my friend, Duane (he’s the one with the ball cap). He is an active member of the law enforcement community and additionally works with GT Distributors. If you think you might be interested in purchasing a firearm, please see him first.

This past weekend, we were fortunate to spend some time with Will, Amber and Duane at the gun club. The occasion was to document a very special birthday. Below are a few images from the shoot. Thanks Duane for helping with the logistics.

Chattanooga Links Up

On Thursday, March 25th, Linked Chattanooga and B-Networked held Links-Up at the Business Development Center, here in Chattanooga. It was a great opportunity to network and meet the people in Chattanooga’s business community, outside of the itty-bity photos on LinkedIn and Facebook.

Always looking for a photo-op, we took head-shots of all attending (at least I think we got one of everyone), and thought it would be a great gift for updating profiles and resumés. I even got one of Santa, who is just as conscious of social media as the next guy.

Everyone should be getting an e-mail later this evening, on where to get your photo. If you do not get an e-mail, send me one, bill@shipleyphoto.com, as I probably couldn’t decipher the handwriting.

5th Annual Ride 4 Smiles

Bill Shipley Photography is pleased to be helping FACES and be a part of the “5th Annual Ride 4 Smiles”. FACES is a national non-profit organization headquartered in Chattanooga. For over 40 years, FACES has provided support services and financial assistance to children and adults who have severe face and skull deformities as a result of birth defects, injuries, or disease.

Chattanooga Fight Factory

We were at the Chattanooga Fight Factory this afternoon to make some photos of some of the members. The Fight Factory turns out some very talented fighters, two of which, placed Gold and Silver at the North American Grappling Championships this weekend in Atlanta, GA.

This weekend we were graced with some beautiful weather and got the opportunity to work with The Otts and their daughter, Katie (pictured). The Otts took advantage of this great weekend to get outdoors and update Katie’s portfolio.

Congratulations to Jennifer Cocker, seen here from a headshot session in November, on landing her first TV commercial. She did a great job and was so convincing, I hardly knew it was her. We hope you have many more Jennifer.

The good thing about rainy Sundays is watching football, without the guilt factor. On Championship Sunday, I really don’t care who wins, as long as they have horseshoes on the helmets (and their QB wears 18). Go Colts - Go Peyton!
